Meet-up on March 1, 2017 at 1951 Coffee Company
BRR is a group of faculty, staff, students, alumni, and retirees from UC Berkeley who are interested in/involved with the refugee crisis in the Middle East and Europe. Those interested in refugee crises in other places in the world are welcome. Members of the group share resources, collaborate on projects, make referrals, and join in discussion about the issues and how to be involved.
The primary way that the group communicates is through the BRR listserv. Another way the group communicates is through the BRR Facebook group.
Many members are also subscribed to Facebook, which is helpful in keeping up with related refugee news as Facebook is one of the media most used by refugee service providers to communicate.
BRR periodically has meet-ups, which are announced on the listserv and the Facebook page.
